The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour parts of Jakarta on Tuesday (1/25).

Rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds is potentially to shower West, East and South Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon

"Rain accompanied by lightning and strong winds is potentially to shower West, East and South Jakarta at noon and in the late afternoon," stated BMKG's official site.

South, East, and South Jakarta will see rain with mild intensity at noon; and clear cloudy in Central, North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

In the evening, most regions will be cloudy. Then at dawn, cloudy is expected in East and South Jakarta, but light rain in West, Central, North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.

Temperatures in five regions and Thousand Islands are predicted at 25 to 34 degrees Celsius with air humidity of 80 to 90 percent.
